We built five different rooms because the hillside asked for it. Some hide in the trees. Some open straight onto the sea. The most expensive is not always the most beautiful — the cabin is small and quiet and might be the best room on the property.
All rooms have direct access to some of the best snorkelling on the island, breakfast included, daily housekeeping, and free wifi where the trees allow it.
The Sky Villa sits at the highest point of the property with a panoramic view that stretches across the bay. Spacious interiors, a large private terrace and a living area make this the right choice for longer stays or those who want more space.

The villa is the highest point on the property. The walk involves stairs but the view from the terrace is unlike anything else on the island. Best for longer stays and those who want room to breathe. Breakfast and snorkelling included.
120 steps from the path. Worth it for the view. Best for stays of three nights or more — the climb starts to feel like home.
Perched on the hillside with an unobstructed view over Aow Leuk Bay. The Ocean Cottage is our most private option, with a large terrace, queen bed, and an outdoor shower surrounded by nature. Wake up to the sound of the sea.

The cottage involves a short uphill walk from the main area. Snorkelling equipment is provided free of charge. Breakfast is served at the restaurant each morning with views over the bay. Minimum stay of 2 nights recommended.
2 nights minimum recommended. The cottage is on the upper terrace — 60 steps from the main path. Breakfast at the restaurant from 07:30.
Compact, light-filled, and quietly tucked into the hillside. The Coastal Cabin is a great value option that still delivers on the views. Comfortable double bed, private bathroom and a small terrace looking out towards the Gulf of Thailand.

The cabin gets great natural light throughout the day. Smaller than the cottage but the same stunning bay view. Perfect for solo travellers or couples looking for a quieter, more affordable stay. Snorkelling gear included.
Fan-only — designed for the breeze. The cabin is closer to the main path and easier to reach than the cottage.
Deep in the trees, the Jungle Bungalow is for those who want to feel fully surrounded by nature. The outdoor bathroom is an experience of its own, with a shower open to the jungle canopy. Rustic but comfortable, with a real sense of seclusion.

As with all jungle stays, you share the space with nature. Geckos and sounds of the forest come with the territory. We recommend bringing insect repellent. The walk to the restaurant and yoga shala takes about three minutes.
Outdoor bathroom is part of the charm. Not for the squeamish. Best from December to April when humidity is lower.
Spacious canvas tents right at the water's edge, with direct access to the reef. This is the closest you can sleep to the sea at Baan Talay. Each tent has a proper bed, private bathroom and its own outdoor space. Wake up and jump straight in.

The tents are further from the main restaurant and yoga shala, about a 5-minute walk uphill. The trade-off is worth it for direct reef access and the sound of the sea at night. Snorkelling gear is provided free.
Tent canvas only — the rain can be loud and lovely. Best for travellers who enjoy a closer relationship with the elements.
